Pernikoff Brothers (CD release) | “A soulfully intimate sound built on timeless brotherly harmonies and raw acoustic strength.” —St. Louis Music. Tom and Rick Pernikoff began composing and playing music together in St. Louis. They spent years honing their skills as instrumentalists on guitar and bass, respectively, while immersed in the classic sounds of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jackson 5, Pink Floyd, Marvin Gaye, Jimi Hendrix and many more. While living in Boston and studying with world-famous musicians and educators Jon Damian and Bob Nieske, Tom and Rick focused their attention to jazz and more improvisation music. The Brothers recently wrote and recorded their debut EP, Go On, inspired by old and new love, crossroads and untraveled paths.

Michael Logen | OK, so here's the thing. I grew up a Mennonite kid in Pennsylvania. I'd steal, maim and possibly kill for peanut butter. Peanut butter pancakes, peanut butter toast, peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches, peanut butter glopped into my cereal, peanut butter-filled bunt cakes, i don't care, give me the peanut butter. I love traveling, music that moves me, VW convertibles (that leak and have rusted-through floor-boards...I'm talking leaks like a seive), Europe, Baja Burrito and feel-good movies. I love God. I don't always know what that means. I love new experiences, shaking things up a bit, taking risks, change of scenery. I love Haribou gummi bears. I love the fact that CVS has travel-size bags of Haribou gummi bears and is conveniently located outside the Green Hills Theater. (If anyone from Green-Hills-Theater-Refreshment-Smuggling-Containment-Staff is reading this, please disregard). I don't pretend to know much about math or be overly good at it. Or enjoy it. But I respect those who are good at it. Those who enjoy it...I also respect...but we're coming from two totally different places. Because I don't enjoy math at all. I enjoy the fruits of math. Like, for example, computers. I'm resisting the temptation to just hit the backspace-bar right now and paste an attempt at an impressive artist bio right here. You know...fill you in on my life's journey. "Michael Logen released his first platinum-selling album in the 1st grade and toured Iceland and Japan in a hovercraft, selling out stadiums, all the while juggling four, flaming batons." You know the drill. Well, I'll save all that for later. If you are looking for a proper, respectable artist bio, scroll down below this video. Here you'll read about my dietary preferences and academic inclinations. I hope you enjoy the songs. They come from the heart. 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time they come from reality TV. But you know the difference. And if you buy my music your wildest dreams will come true and you will be truly happy. So there's always that. I look forward to meeting you on the road.
