Music was always a part of life for the singer song writer Joshua Stanley. Born into a family of musicians four generations strong it was only a matter of time before he discovered his natural ability for musical composition. His distinct sound, soulful feel and engaging stage presence can be attributed to his deep roots in the southern clay of the Missouri-Arkansas line. His musical influences can be detected in his southern rock styling roots and new artists styles like Warren Hayes, Ronnie Van Zant, John Mayer, and Robert Johnson.
"I grew up a huge fan of guys like Warren Haynes (Govt. Mule) Robert Johnson, but I grew to appreciate creative lyricist like John Mayer."
"In ways I feel like I’ve taken pieces of them and created the artist I want to be."
